German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 lb. bacon
1/3 c. vinegar + water to equal 1/2 c.
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
5 c. sliced, cooked potatoes
1/2 c. onion, chopped
Preparation

Cook bacon crisp; crumble.
Remove skillet from heat; combine 1/3 cup bacon drippings with next 5 ingredients.
Heat and stir until thickened.
Add potatoes, onion and bacon; toss and heat thoroughly.
Serves 6.
