Chicken Geraldine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 oz. frozen artichokes or canned, cut into quarters
    1 tsp. salt and pepper
    4 chicken breasts, cut in half (boneless)
    8 slices bacon
    4 Tbsp. or more sweet vermouth
    2 peeled, chopped tomatoes
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place thawed artichokes on the bottom of a glass baking pan. Top with chicken breasts, salt and pepper. Cut bacon strips in half and lay on top of chicken.
    Pour on vermouth and bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours. Sprinkle chopped tomatoes and Cheddar cheese on top after bacon is brown and cook an additional 15 minutes.
