Turkey Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced cooked turkey
2 c. diced boiled potatoes
1 c. cooked peas
1 large carrot, shredded
3 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
1 onion, diced
3 Tbsp. finely sliced celery
1 green pepper (seed and cut)
1 c. water
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place turkey in bottom of casserole dish.
Top with potatoes, peas and shredded carrot.
Melt shortening in frying pan.
Add onion and saute until browned.
Add celery and green pepper.
Saute for 2 minutes.
Spoon onion mixture into center of casserole and stir lightly.
Add water to casserole.
Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer or until browned on top.
