Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. minced dried onion (I use 2 Tbsp. fresh minced onion)
    2 c. grated American cheese (use 8 torn up slices)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover with 2 cups crushed corn flakes or potato chips, or crackers can be used mixed with 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine.
    Bake 40 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
