Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 medium tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion
    2 bay leaves
    2 celery ribs with leaves
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. parsley
    juice from 1/2 lemon
Preparation
    Quarter tomatoes (unpeeled); cook all ingredients except salt, pepper, parsley and juice of lemon.
    Pass through a food mill or sieve; season with the remaining ingredients.
    Boil and seal into hot sterilized jars; seal.
