Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup (light)
    1/4 c. boiling water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 heaping Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a hard ball in cold water.
    Add peanuts and butter; cook until syrup is brown.
    Add soda and mix well.
    Spread thin on waxed paper and let cool.
    When cool, break in pieces.
