Pasta Marinara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 large cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. red cooking wine
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    your favorite pasta
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, cook onion and garlic in hot oil until tender.
    Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, cooking wine, sugar, oregano and basil.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 30 minutes.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta; drain and serve with sauce.
