Luscious Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (2 medium) sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
    1/4 c. orange flavored liqueur (or 2 t. grated orange peel)
    1 t. ground cinnamon
    1 t. ground nutmeg
    1/4 t. salt
    2 eggs
    1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked
    Cool Whip topping, optional
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a large mixing bowl, mash sweet potatoes with butter. Add next 5 ingredients and beat with mixer until mixture is smooth and well blended. Stir in eggs and pour into pie shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool. Refrigerate leftovers. May be served with Cool Whip on top.
