Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork
    1 c. water
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
    1/4 c. sliced onion
Preparation
    Combine pork, water, bouillon cube and salt; cover and simmer until tender.
    Drain pineapple, reserving the syrup.
    Combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
    Add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Cook and stir over medium-high heat until thick and bubbly, then remove.
    Add sauce to pork.
    Stir in pineapple, pepper and onion.
    Cook over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until tender-crisp.
    Serve over hot rice.
