Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 apples, peeled and sliced*
    1/2 c. sugar*
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon*
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. oil
    2 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

    You may substitute with 2 cups of applesauce.
