Macaroni-Chicken Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. elbow macaroni
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 qt. boiling water
    2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 broiler-fryer (2 to 3 lb.), cut into small pieces
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    28 oz. tomatoes
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 large green pepper, strips
Preparation
    Cook macaroni and
    salt
    according
    to directions until tender; drain.
    While macaroni
    is\tcooking,
    beat\tegg
    and 2 tablespoons water until
    just
    mixed.
    Dip chicken pieces into egg mixture, then into cheese, coating each piece well.
    Brown chicken in hot
    oil
    in large skillet, a few pieces at a time, adding more oil if needed.
    Pour off drippings.
    Add tomatoes and stir
    well to loosen brown bits in skillet.
    Add chicken, onion, green pepper
    and
    macaroni.
    Cover
    and\tcook
    for 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
    Serves 4 to 6.
