Syrian Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    1/2 lb. hamburger meat
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (if seasoned, omit salt and pepper)
Preparation
    Peel and boil eggplant for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Drain and mash with a fork.
    Brown meat, pepper, onion and seasonings in 3 tablespoons butter.
    Stir in eggplant and rice.
    Pour into a greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan.
    Top with crumbs and remaining butter.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
