Hot Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. coarsely ground green pepper
    1/4 c. ground green or red hot pepper
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 bottle liquid pectin
    green or red food coloring
Preparation
    Bring pepper, sugar and vinegar to a boil.
    Boil for 3 minutes.
    Add coloring.
    Add pectin and boil 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
    Let set 5 minutes.
    Strain and pour into hot jars.
    Seal.
    Makes 4 pints.
