Frozen Fruit Cups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    1/2 c. regular sugar
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained (reserve 12 orange slices)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1 (8 oz.) any kind Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Cut 6 cherries in half and reserve. Also chop rest of fruit up and add to the cream cheese mixture along with the nuts. Fold in Cool Whip. Put in foil cupcake holders in muffin tins and garnish top of each with an orange slice and 1/2 of cherry. Freeze until solid and put in freezer bags. Ready to eat whenever you want; better if taken out about 15 to 30 minutes before eating. Yummy!!
