English Monkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. breadcrumbs, soaked in 1 cup milk 15 minutes
    1 heaping Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
    1 beaten egg
    salt and cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Add cheese to butter when melted.
    To the crumb mixture, add the egg and seasonings.
    Blend all together until smooth.
    Serve on crackers or toast.
