Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. water
    2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened or semi-sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place water and chocolate in a small saucepan.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted.
    Remove from heat, stir in sugar and salt. Return to medium heat and cook about 8 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat. Beat in margarine and vanilla.
    Serve hot over ice cream.
