Peach Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (21 oz.) can peach pie filling
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk baking mix
    1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Heat oven to
    400\u00b0.
    Spread
    pie
    filling
    in ungreased baking pan (8 x 8\tx
    2-inch).
    Stir
    baking mix, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl.
    Beat egg thoroughly; pour into mixture in bowl and
    stir until crumbly.
    Sprinkle evenly over pie filling. Drizzle
    with shortening.
    Bake until topping is golden brown, about 20
    minutes.\tServe warm with ice cream or light cream, if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
