Creamy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) pkg. Eagle Brand chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coating
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, over medium heat, melt candy coating and butter with sweetened condensed milk and salt.
    Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla.
    Spread evenly onto wax paper-lined 9 or 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Chill 3 hours or until firm.
    Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares.
    Store tightly covered at room temperature or in refrigerator.
    Makes about 3 pounds.
