Hungarian Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. Hungarian paprika
    1 ripe tomato
    1 bell pepper
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Saute onions over low heat until golden brown, then add beef and stir for 10 minutes. Toss in paprika.
    Add 1 cup warm water. Cover and cook 1 hour over low heat.
    Add more water, if necessary.
    After about 45 minutes, add peeled tomatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces, pepper rings and salt.
    Cook until tender.
