Walnut Crown Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 3/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
Preparation

Grease and flour a 9 or 10-inch angel pan.
Spread walnuts over bottom.
Sift dry ingredients into large bowl.
Add milk, shortening and vanilla.
Beat 2 minutes.
Add unbeaten eggs.
Beat 2 minutes more.
Pour over walnuts.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
