Cinnamon And Raisin Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
2 c. self-rising flour
2/3 to 3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine shortening with flour; mix until crumbly.
Gradually add buttermilk; mix very well.
Add raisins and cinnamon; mix completely.
Turn out onto floured board.
Knead about 10 times until smooth.
Cut out with biscuit cutter.
Bake at 450\u00b0.
Bake about 10 minutes.
Put icing on biscuits while still warm.
