Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced carrots
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. herb stuffing
    1/3 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salted boiling water until tender; drain. Cook onion in 3 tablespoons butter until soft.
    Stir in soup, salt, pepper and cheese.
    Add carrots and place in 2-quart casserole. Toss stuffing with 1/3 cup melted butter; spoon over carrots.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
