Caramel-Layer Chocolate Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. light caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Cook and stir until caramels are melted.
    Set aside.
    In large bowl, combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Stir by hand until dough holds together.
    (It might be crumbly.)
