2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. pure almond extract
5 Tbsp. raspberry preserves
sliced, blanched almonds, toasted *
2 Tbsp. sugar

*To toast almonds, spread on cookie sheet; bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown, stirring occasionally.
