Mother'S Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy iron skillet in oven while being preheated to 350\u00b0.
    Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a mixing bowl.
    Beat eggs; add milk and 2 tablespoons melted butter from skillet. Quickly stir milk mixture into dry mixture.
    Pour batter into remaining butter in skillet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
