Glorified Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1 green pepper
    2 ribs celery
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. green onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
    1 c. fresh bread crumbs (optional)
Preparation
    Shred cabbage. Set aside.
    Finely chop onion and green pepper. Chop green onions. Cut celery into cross-wise slices about 1/8-inch thick.
