Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. chopped pecans
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and 1/4 cup of sugar.
Stir in flour, pecans and vanilla.
Shape into small (1 teaspoon) balls and place on well-greased baking sheet.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
When cool, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes 12 to 16 small cookies.
