Asparagus Parmigiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus or 2 pkg. frozen asparagus, cooked
    1 onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Drain cooked asparagus and arrange in a shallow baking dish. Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden.
    Add salt, hot pepper sauce and tomatoes.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Add thyme and tomato sauce; simmer 20 minutes longer.
    Pour sauce over asparagus.
    Place slices of Mozzarella cheese over top.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
