Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets
1/4 c. juice from beets
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Add vinegar, oil and juice from beets.
Cook about 5 minutes.
Add beets and simmer over low heat about 30 minutes.
