Vegetarian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    16 oz. tomatoes with juice
    18 oz. chopped water chestnuts
    4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    2 tsp. honey
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. wine vinegar
    3 small bay leaves
    2 tsp. hot sauce (optional)
Preparation
    In large iron skillet, on low heat, add oil, onion, pepper and celery.
    Fry gently until onion turns.
    Add tomatoes and blend in other ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 50 to 60 minutes.
    Continue to simmer to thicken or use 1 teaspoon flour and water.
