Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing mix
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 c. hot water
    2 1/2 c. (or more, if desired) cooked chicken pieces
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green onion tops
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix cooked chicken pieces, onion, green onion tops, salt, celery and mayonnaise. Spread mixture over stuffing mixture (already in casserole dish).
    Then spread remaining stuffing mixture over chicken mixture.
    Mix eggs with milk.
    Pour this over all.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
