Mom'S Marinated Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. round steak, sirloin or chuck steak
    meat tenderizer
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder (or more)
Preparation
    Pierce meat with fork and sprinkle with meat tenderizer.
    Place in glass baking pan.
    Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over meat and turn to coat.
    Cover and refrigerate 8 hours. Grill or bake until desired doneness.
