Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sweet milk
    1/3 c. shortening or butter
    2 pkg. Red Star yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    4 to 5 c. sifted flour
    1/2 stick melted margarine or butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Scald sweet milk long enough to melt 1/3 cup shortening or butter.
    Let cool.
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    In large mixing bowl combine 1/3 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons salt and eggs.
    Beat with spoon.
    Stir in milk and shortening.
    Gradually add flour to form stiff dough.
    Knead on floured surface until smooth and satiny, about 5 minutes.
    Place in greased bowl; cover.
    Let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
