Texas Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    4 large onions (sliced)
    6 potatoes (peeled and sliced)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. cheese
    salt and pepper
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Brown
    meat
    in
    butter
    in
    a\tlarge
    Dutch oven.
    Add vegetables.
    Mix
    soup,
    milk and sour cream together.
    Add to meat and vegetables.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 1 hour or until
    meat is tender.
    Sprinkle cheese over top of stew after serving into a bowl.
