Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag frozen broccoli
    3 cans chicken broth
    1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
    3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    cheese, if desired
Preparation
    Simmer broccoli in undiluted chicken broth.
    Set aside.
    Melt margarine in large saucepan.
    Add flour and stir until thickened. Add salt.
    Slowly add milk, stirring constantly.
    Cook until very thick.
    Add to chicken broth and broccoli and mix well.
    If you desire, add cheese for added flavor.
    Stir until melted.
    Serve warm.
