Hamburger Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger meat
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 small bag whole baby carrots (frozen or fresh)
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1/3 c. ketchup
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 to 2 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Mix meat and all other ingredients in large pot.
    Bring to boil.
    Return to low heat and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
