Cinnamon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. red hots
    1 lb. can applesauce
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 large or 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O
Preparation
    Dissolve red hots in 2 cups hot water. Add Jell-O and applesauce.
    Put half of the mixture in mold.
    Let set. Mix softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Add nuts.
    Put on top of hardened Jell-O.
    Pour rest of Jell-O on top and let set until firm.
