Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 small can Pet milk
    2 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecan pieces
Preparation
    In heavy pan, mix first 4 ingredients.
    Boil, stirring occasionally, until ingredients reach 230\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans.
    Stir until color begins to change, then working very quickly, drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper.
