Ingredients

cucumbers
1 large onion
2 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
Preparation

Peel and slice 2 quarts cucumbers.
Slice the onion and put in bowl.
Cover with the salt; toss.
Cover and let stand 2 hours. Drain off liquid; do not wash.
Cover with sugar.
Add vinegar; toss again.
Bag and freeze.
Will keep several months.
