Chicken Breasts In Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    lemon juice
    pepper
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 tsp. fresh chives, snipped
    1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Marinate chicken in lemon juice and pepper for 30 minutes. Cook chicken breasts in hot butter or margarine over medium heat for 8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through; turn occasionally.
    Remove chicken from pan and place on a warm platter; cover to keep warm.
    Reserve drippings in pan.
    Add the mushrooms and chives to the pan and drippings.
    Cook and stir until mushrooms are tender.
    Stir in the whipping cream; boil gently until slightly thickened, scraping the browned bits from the pan.
    Spoon the sauce over warm chicken breasts and serve. Serves 4.
