Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. whole dates
    1 lb. cherries
    1 lb. walnuts
    1 lb. Brazil nuts
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cut fruit and nuts into a bowl.
    Sprinkle dry ingredients over them and add beaten eggs.
    Mix well by hand and bake in slow oven at 260\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours.
    Place pan with 2 cups water on bottom shelf while baking.
