Cornish Hen And Rice Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Cornish game hens
    6 oz. pkg. white and wild rice
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    4 oz. can (1/2 c.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    2 c. water
    3 cubes or 3 tsp. chicken bouillon
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. honey
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Using kitchen shears or sharp knife, cut hens in half lengthwise through breast-bone.
    In 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish, combine rice mix, onion, celery and mushrooms.
    Heat water and dissolve bouillon; stir into rice mixture.
    Dot with margarine.
    Place game hens cut side down over rice.
    Brush with 1 tablespoon honey; lightly sprinkle with salt.
    Cover with foil and bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Uncover; brush hens with remaining honey.
    Bake uncovered 30 minutes longer or until tender and brown.
