Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
6 large eggs
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco until fluffy.
Slowly add sugar.
Add the eggs, one at a time.
Beat after each egg.
Add flavorings. Sift flour and sift again.
Add baking powder to last sift.
Add flavor alternately with milk.
Start with flour and end with flour. Cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
