Red Kidney Bean Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans (dark red)
    1 medium-size onion, chopped
    1 pt. tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    rice
Preparation
    In skillet, combine olive oil, salt, oregano and onion.
    Saute until onion is tender.
    Add tomato sauce and kidney beans.
    Kidney beans should be rinsed well to get rid of juice.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat and simmer for additional 10 minutes.
    Serve hot over bed of rice.
