Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    4 c. milk
    4 c. heavy cream
    2 c. brandy
    1/2 c. rum
    2 c. granulated sugar
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and granulated sugar until thoroughly mixed. Add milk and heavy cream; beat thoroughly.
    Add brandy and rum; beat thoroughly.
