Berried Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    dash of salt
    7 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. Dixie Crystal granulated sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. sweet butter, melted
Preparation
    Cake:
    Whisk together flour, cocoa and salt.
    In top of double boiler, combine eggs, sugar and vanilla.
    Stir over gently simmering water until mixture is slightly warmed.
    Turn into large mixer bowl and beat until thick in volume.
    Fold in flour and butter mixture, a third at a time.
    Pour batter into greased and floured 9 or 10-inch spring-form pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Remove from oven; cool for 10 minutes.
    Loosen and turn onto rack.
    Cool for 2 hours at room temperature.
