Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
1 sweet green pepper
1 onion
2 or 3 carrots
1 tsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Heat turmeric, salt, mustard seed, vinegar and sugar to boiling.
Pour over cabbage, green pepper and onion.
This will keep in refrigerator 2 or 3 weeks.
