Seven-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 c. shredded lettuce
    1/2 bunch sliced green onions
    4 to 5 stalks celery, sliced
    10 oz. bag frozen peas
    1 small jar chopped pimientos
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 pkg. artificial sweetener
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    Parmesan cheese
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Wash and drain vegetables. Build salad in layers in glass bowl. Begin with lettuce, green onions, celery and peas. Dot pea layer with pimientos and add water chestnuts on top. In separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweetener and garlic powder until creamy. Spread dressing over salad and garnish with Parmesan cheese and bacon bits.
