Nut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 large marshmallows
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water, corn syrup and salt in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook until mixture reaches 230\u00b0 or just before the soft ball stage.
    Add marshmallows; stir until melted.
    Add vanilla flavoring and 2 1/2 cups of nuts.
    Stir until mixture starts to lose its shine and hardens slightly.
    Quickly turn out on wax paper.
    Separate into individual pieces.
    Cool.
