Polpette(Italian Meatballs) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
1/4 c. bread crumbs, seasoned or 3 slices stale Italian bread, moistened
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp. oregano
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix all ingredients (raisins may be added to mixture for flavor).
Roll into balls.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or meatballs can also be fried in pan with oil to cover bottom of pan.
Cook until done.
Add to tomato sauce whether baked or fried.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
